Sterling Interiors has a commercial buildout on the go. Check out a few of the images below. There will be lots of Falkbuilt walls to go up after drywall and paint. We normally build out all those walls in steel and drywall but the owner chose a demountable system instead. We’re excited to see it all come together! .

There are 6 levels of drywall finishing from Drywall Level 0: which means no taping, finishing, or accessories, to Drywall Level 5: a premium finish, where a surface has a single texture over the entire area and the highest degree of quality in drywall. It requires all aspects of a Level 4 finish and an additional skim coat of joint compound to cover the entire surface. We specialize in spray applications of drywall neutralizers to take drywall from a Level 4 finish to a Level 5 finish in one step.
The product our customers are most pleased with is a high hide primer-surfacer that will minimize the chance of call-backs by greatly reducing the joint banding and fix points (nail/screw holes) so they are not visible through the paint finish. Level 5 is key when dark colours or gloss/semi-gloss finishes or critical light areas are specified. This product can also be left unpainted where a flat white ceiling is desired, saving the builder/homeowner money.

Images are from an older split-level we revitalized. We finished off the drywall by painting the ceilings after our Level 5 application with Sherwin Williams CHB. Turned out beautifully.

Sterling Interiors specializes in residential & commercial drywall as well as custom interior finishes. We pride ourselves on making insulation recommendations that will help the environment and decrease your monthly operating and heating costs. One of these insulation products is spray foam.
Spray polyurethane foam, commonly referred to as SPF, is a sprayed foam insulation that starts as a liquid, goes through specialized equipment, and is then mixed at the end of the spray gun. It is sprayed onto a surface and expands multiple times past its original volume. SPF formulas can be adjusted to have different physical properties depending on the type of application you need it for. For example, the same basic materials can make an insulation foam that is semi-rigid and soft to the touch, and those same materials can also create a high-density roofing foam that is resistant to various weights and water.
We have used spray foam insulation in residential applications because of its ability to seal and insulate structures. Common uses for it include home insulation and structure sealing. The properties of spray foam make it a much tighter sealant and insulator than packaged material you might generally apply to your house or commercial structure.

Drywall taping and mudding is an important part of the drywall installation process. During the mudding and taping process, the tape acts as a bond to keep the finished wall from developing cracks along the drywall seams and sanding the dried mud smooths the edges. Professional taping ensures you get a clean, smooth surface to apply the paint to and an aesthetically pleasing finished look overall.
When taping and mudding are not done properly it can lead to potential problems and oftentimes an unsightly result that can be difficult to correct. Each of our team members, from insulators and boarders, to tapers, mudders and finishers, are chosen because of their individual commitment to the highest level of service within their trade. Our success is producing the best results for you.
